Last October 18, 2009 held the 5th Komikon (Filipino Komiks Convention) at the Megatrade Hall 1 in SM Megamall.
Komikon is the gathering of Filipino comic book artist from the past up to the present which featured art galleries of old Pinoy Komiks and booths of upcoming Komiks from the new generation.
Originally the Komikon was set at the UP (University of the Philippines) Bahay ng Alumni at UP Diliman, but for the first time, they venued at the SM Megamall
Komikon also held their wnd Komikon Awards were they give recognition to the talent comic book artist in the local industry, here are the winners:
