FĂȘte de la Pioneers: The 4th GE PH Community Gathering

Calling all PH GE Pioneers!

We are inviting you next Saturday for a day of community bonding with your fellow GE Players! We have also prepared several activities, both online and offline, and with exciting prizes to boot!

Organized by Blacksword since December 2008, the GE PH Community Gathering has successfully brought new and veteran Filipino GE gamers together. If you haven't attended yet, well, now's your chance! We promise that it's going to be a lot of fun.

Be there on July 18, Saturday, and head to Phooze Gaming Hub located at the 2/F Anonas Commercial Complex in Project 3, Quezon City to join in the fun!

There will be exciting contests, a PVP tournament and a raid to Chateau de Bourgogne!

To know more about the contest details, check out the information below.

Dynamic Duo: The PvP With A Twist!

Mechanics:

1. This tournament will be done in the test server.
2. Players can choose any character line-up. They will be given the same amount of consumables (HP pots, SP pots, bullets, magical/elemental orbs), as well as the same types of armors & weapons.
3. A total of 10 participants can join in which they will be paired with each other (this can vary depending on the number of participants, but this must be an even number to facilitate pairings).
4. Depending on the participants, one will be assigned to handle the keyboard controls, and another for the mouse controls. Once the pairs have decided which one will control the mouse and keyboard, they cannot switch places throughout the duration of the battle.
5. The team member holding the mouse will be the only one to direct the team's character the specific location/target enemies, while the team member on the keyboard will be the only one to choose/cast the skill to be used in battle.
6. Teammates are not allowed to talk to each other, nor are they allowed to point/make gestures at the monitor once the match has begun. Any form of verbal communication between the two will result in disqualification.
7. Spectators/audience are also not allowed to coach the teams.
8. The team to successfully defeat their opponent will be the winner for that match.
9. In case of a "draw", a sudden death match will commence. Players are not allowed to change their line-ups. The first team to score a kill wins.

Prizes:
Winner: GE LE Box (each)
Runner-up: 50 ABS (each)

Songs of the New World (Name That Tune)

Mechanics:

1. Participants will be asked to listen to a GE background music in which they will have to properly guess which map or location the song can be heard in the game.
2. Every correct guess will win a prize.
3. A participant can only win once throughout the duration of the contest.

Prize:
20 ABS (per winner)

New World Villains (Guess That Mob)

Mechanics:

1. The contest facilitator will flash images of certain mobs found in the game.
2. Participants will be asked to guess the exact name of the mob.
3. The contest facilitator will mention in what map the said mob can be found as a clue.
4. Every correct guess will win a prize.
5. A participant can only win once throughout the duration of the contest.

Prize:
20 ABS (per winner)

Strike that Pose!

Mechanics:

1. There will be 2 contest facilitators in which one will dictate a given GE character pose, while the other will act it out.

4. A participant can only win once throughout the duration of the contest.

Prize:
