Video Game Bento Anyone?

Japanese have a habit of mixing art and food to their kid's lunchboxes since God knows when.
And who would ever thought that making bento or home-packed meal in Japanese would be this tempting, especially if you're a hardcore gamer.

Annathered is been making video game inspired bentos for a while and she already made almost 50 (yes 50) kinds of bentos, from Katamari to Patapon and even some anime themed bentos like Deathnote and Doraemon.

Patapon Bento

Katamari Bento

Super Smash Bros. Bento

Ryuk from Deathnote

And believe me, making these bento takes a lot of time and effort. A big salute to Annathered on her bentos.

You can also visit her Flickr page to see more of her incredible creations and you can also check the full listings of ingredients that she used for her bentos.

Kojima's Next Project

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the popular Metal Gear series announced that he will announce a game at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

Kojima even launched a website as a teaser for his upcoming project.
http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/next/

Japanese game magazine Famitsu had an ad on Kojima's secret project and also included is the URL for his teaser site

The website was launched last May 18, 2009

The teaser had an image with what could either be the number 5 or maybe a block capitalized letter "S". The website has lighting and thunder and wind blowing noises as well as a countdown clock that ends in three days.

Could this be Metal Gear Solid 5? or maybe a sequel (or even a remake) of another game of Hideo Kojima: Snatcher.

We'll soon find out when timer reaches zero.
