Looks like a lot of popular fighting games are getting a portable version for the players on the go. Some examples include Sould Calibur 4 (Soul Calibur Broken Destiny for the PSP version) and Tekken 6, and now from the creators of Guilty Gear X; Arc System Works has just announced that their popular 2D fighting game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will have a PSP version.
Originally released on the arcades , PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the PSP version of BlazBlue will feature the original 12 characters from the original game (including the Unlimited forms they showed off in the previous home ports). Along with a new game feature: Legion mode, where you move your character on a map (similar that from Dissidia Final Fantasy) and fight enemies one-on-one to take over more territory. There's also a mulitplayer mode with the use of Ad-Hoc that can hold up to 4 players.
The PSP version of BlazBlue is scheduled to release on February 25th, 2010 in Japan, there is still no news for an American/European release.
