The GE Black Party Aftermath

Granado Espada celebrated its first year anniversary last Saturday, Sept. 27,2008 at the SMX convention.

and the cool part is that all GE players that attended wore black t-shirts as their way of celebrating the GE Anniversary Black Party.

Online Activities Mechanics

GE Tournament Clash of the Pioneers
3 versus 3

Mechanics:

Server: Internal Test Server

1. All terms and conditions of IAHGames Passport apply. This tournament is open for the test server only.
2. Each team will consist of 3 players. Players are not allowed to join multiple teams. Players found to be in multiple teams will have their teams immediately disqualified.
3. Players from each team will be using the pre-made accounts set by the Game Facilitators. They can choose their own MCC team/set of characters from the said account.
4. Each team/player will be using only the consumables provided by the Game Facilitators.
5. Players are to meet at the City of Auch – PvP Officer 10 minutes before the tournament starts.
6. There will be an allotment of 10 minutes for preparation and 5 minutes for the match.
7. Once the 5-minute time is up, it’s hands-off-the-keyboard. Any player with hands on the keyboard will automatically be disqualified.
8. The team to successfully exterminate all 9 characters of the opposing team will be pronounced the winner for that match.
9. In case of a “draw,” both teams will be required to play a “sudden death match.” Players are not allowed to change their character setup. First team to score a character-kill will be the winner of the match.
10. Warnings will be given for team displaying unsportsmanship behavior or not abiding by the rules and/or listening to the GMs/marshals. There will be disqualifications on the team who will receive 3 warnings and/or exploitation of any bugs and intentional disconnections during the match.
11. Finals Match will be best of three.
12. In case of system failures or disconnections, inform the marshals as soon as possible. If any players are disconnected before any engagement is made, the match will be restarted. The marshal is also responsible and monitor the match at all times in cases like this one.
13. Tournament fee is 20EP/750GVC unscratched.

Gate Keeper Down @ Carracci + Chaos Requiem Info

At around 4pm last Saturday,September 13, The Gate Keeper that's residing at the Underground Cave in Bahamas has finally been taken down in Carracci Server.

The person who took the last blow on the Gate Keeper was no other than Nostradamus, Faction Leader of the Eminence Faction. Along with the members of Eminence, they defeated the Gate Keeper in around 20 minutes with 3 squads.

If you're wondering how strong the Gate Keeper is, my factionmate dinsly manage to take a screenshot of the Gate Keeper's stats


This is the second time a Gate Keeper was defeated in GE SEA/ANZ (the first was at the Caravaggio server), and with the downfall of the enormous giant, the players of Carracci can now access the levels of Tierra Putrafecta and Chaos Requiem.

As the gate opens at Tierra Putrafecta, we ventured further inside the map to check on what's lurking inside the forgotten area, this is what we have encountered...

The hard part in Chaos Requiem is that all of the monster's AR and DR are around 60 above,
so Veterans going solo in this map have no chance if they don't have at least 60 AR and DR,it's also recommended that Veterans should should bring along some more players to join the hunt on Chaos Requiem to increase your chance to survive, as for the Experts, they can survive in this map as long as they bring along a tanker on their team if they have less than 60 AR and DR.

Meet the new CM / GE Mini Community Meeting

Where bloggers/gamers and the staff of GE have gathered together to discuss about the different issues regarding the game, and not to mention we had a special guest on that day, the new Community Manager of GE Ph himself, CM Aethrin

The guys that were present on the meeting where: Blacksword, CM Aethrin, Fiksdotter, Grantoza(who surprisingly was one of the GE marketing staff that came w/ CM Aethrin), Kincaid, Mena, Ninemoons, Reclusion, and Rivendel.

The discussion is about how we can promote the game, as well as the issues regarding the access of G-Points and also installers, posters of GE. One of the goods news is that the epoints to gpoints conversion is on the works now, and hopefully this'll be approved in a short period of time.

CM Aethrin also ask for suggestions for the upcoming GE Anniversary, which will be on the 15th of September, whether will it be set before (Sept. 13-14) or after (Sept. 20-21) of the actual anniversary date. The venue would be probably be in GameFrog in Ortigas for Luzon, and a combined event for the Visayas and Mindanao.

If you are a player who visits the GE forums regularly, you've probably noticed those new sigs with different portraits of GE characters like this one
I guess you're wondering how they made those family portraits, well fret not, you can make those from this site:

The site is been online for quite some time now.
But before you can create those family portraits, be sure to register at the site first.

There are two kinds of family portraits: the mug shot(V2) and the full body(V1), the pics you usually see are the mugshot ones, I'd prefer the mug shot style if you have lots of characters to add in the portrait, but if you want to show your main team, the full body style can be the top choice

The instructions there are very easy, you wouldn't get confused in making those portraits
you can also save the URL or even the pic itself so you can edit the pic that suits you the best.
But if you're gonna make a portrait with characters more than 20, be sure to save it first and edit before you post it as your sig in the forums, since the pic will be very long and it won't adjust itself. And sometimes the longer the pic, the smaller its appearance.
